Due Diligence

Fiduciaries must understand how their managers are achieving returns, the risks associated with their managers, and how their managers can be expected to perform in various market dynamics. We help professional trustees and foundation boards meet their fiduciary duties regarding their investment managers in various ways, including:

Confirming the investment manager's investment strategy aligns with the portfolio's Investment Policy Statement.

Performing both a quantitative analysis of the manager's results and a qualitative evaluation of the manager's processes, systems, operations, personnel and integrity.

Identifying the risks associated with the manager's decision-making process and how those risks could affect the portfolio's performance relative to expectations.
